Headder Questions

Need some suggestions. I have a stock exhaust with the exception of a flowmaster cat back. I want some longtubes. I don't want cats, but I don't want it louder than what I have now.

I was thinking some coated hooker LT's, unless someone has a better suggestion for the price. Custom y pipe with 2 bullet mufflers to replace my cats. I want to keep my O2 sensors as well. I am probably going to get rid of the EGR crap. If anyone has any suggestions on a set up that works good, instalation tips, or places to buy them it would be appreciated.

I am probably going to replace my pluggs and wires when I do the headder install. Also, should I get a cutout?

Everything your saying contradicts what you want.

"I don't want cats, but I don't want it louder than what I have now."

Long tube are hell of loud and bullets are worse.

I was talking about putting bullets in place of my cat in addition to my flowmaster cat back. I was just thinking of putting the bullets in place of the cats to make it a little quieter.

Go with the LT headers, no cats, and put a factory muffler on it.

LT's are very loud on their own, and taking off the cats will make it much much louder. If you want quiet, stay stock IMO.

I think I must've drove around with open headers too long! Last week I decided to have my y-pipe built, and now that I'm running full exhaust again without cats, my car doesn't sound any louder than it did before I had the longtubes.
