Post Install My Brakes Make Some $$$$$$

I just bought a brake package about a week ago. I'm looking for someone that is interested in making a little money for doing the install. It will just be a set of PowerSlot Rotors, Hawk pads and stainless brake lines. I was told the system should take about 2-3 hrs to install?

I would do it but don't trust my little experience. Red lights mean stop... Not Well I Almost Stopped!!!

Let me know if anyone is interested? I have my garage all ready to go......... Oh Yea, I have GOOD BEER TOO

Bill

If that doesn't work out with Chris, let me know, Andy (rediroc) is also a GM tech & is very qualified to do the job.

How about doing a test before switching the brakes. Get on the highway, with no trafic, get the car up to 60, at at a pre determned spot, brake as hard as you can. Mark the spot you stop at with spray paint or something, then do the same thing after you switch brakes. I'd be interested how much you shorten your stopping distance with those brakes. Good luck.

I'll make you a deal.... If you can do it in my garage Saturday afternoon I'll pay you $90.00? My home number is 734/995-7179. I have some other projects being done at my house this weekend and need to be at home.

Let me know?

Black Sunshine,

I don't think the new rotors and pads will lessen the stopping distance more than the variability that would be there from a driver trying to hit his brakes at the very same point both times.

I have a Vericom and GTech that might make the test more accurate if Bill's interested.

I thought that if he kept turning around & trying over & over, then sooner or later he would hit the brakes at the same spot

I'd be interested in any results that you get, regardless of testing method. Good luck.

Bill,

Just email me when you want to try it. I need to pull these things out of their box anyway. I haven't used either one of them in years.
