Head swap ?'s

Can the heads be pulled and replaced without getting into the A/C system? I know everything has to be unbolted from the head but can it be done without opening lines and loosing refrigerant?

Yea, you dont need to pull anything in the AC. You dont even need to pull the radiator.

it makes it 10 times easier to do without the rad and a system i would remove it

heads dont need radiator pulled, cam is another story. Dont mess w/ the radiator.

oh sorry i misread this i thought there was a cam in there somewhere too. Oh no you can just leave all that stuff on there .

Don't forget to remove the coolant line (steam pipe) that connects the back of the 2 heads.

that coolant pipe is a pain too get off (at least it was for me). Use the exact size on it because it will strip easily. It will take alot of grunt to get it off
