Head selection help

Head selection help

What whould flow beter and produce more power with the CC306 cam on a 383. I have not selected a piston yet. so compression is not a concern in this
TrickFlow or LT4 heads

Compression is a concern really. 54cc chambers in the LT4 and 64cc chambers in the TFS head. The two heads flow very close to one another stock, the LT4 head I've seen go 290cfm with the stock valve while the Trick Flow will do even better with porting and a bigger valve. Niether one of these heads is going to set any records in stock trim, and a cam other than the 306 is probably going to be better in the end.
