Having an issue with a high idle.

I've searched up and down for vacuum leaks... cant seem to find any. Car runs like a top but sits at 1000 - 1100 rpms at idle. I want to adjust the screw in the TB but I doubt that is the case. Anyone near Dallas have a scanner? I wanna check my sensor readings.

did this start after the TB was installed?

check the IAC counts etc. guess you just need to get some info/scanner

It was doing it with the original TB... it's starting to **** me off. This high idle is really driving me nuts. Think an exhaust leak could cause the 02s to have incorrect blms and in some way affect the idle? I am going to try a few things... I am starting to remember why I sold my 93 and got a bike. LOL

run to autozone. they use the actron model that has a realtime pcm viewer. forget the real name for now but you get the point.

any way, tell them you want to use the scaner and look up the datastream. find your IAC counts. should be between 12 and 50.
