Has anyone documented gains from a ported intake manifold?
I have some info, but it probably won't help much.
I ran 349.6rwhp with blah,blah, blah, Hooker shorties/Y pipe/gutted cat/flowmaster muffler.
I got PS LTs, 3" Xpipe, 3" duals/bullets dumped at axle. Added an LE ported/welded intake at the same time.
Ran 370.8rwhp on the same dyno.
Told ya it wouldn't help much.

I got dyno tuned with the stock intake manifold/52mm tb and put out 375/360. This is when my heads only flowed ~240cfm, and if I knew they only flowed this much I wouldn't have bothered with a ported intake manifold at the time. Then I got a ported intake manifold and 58mm throttle body and put it on, but I also put in TR6's from my TR55's since I was spraying my car, I dyno'd 366rwhp. Then I put in autolite 106's and dyno'd 372rwhp. All 3 of these were on a different dyno's, but all were dynojets. I know this probably doesn't prove anything, expecially since my heads only flowed 240cfm and they were all on different dynos but I thought i'de just throw the info out there.
i doubt you will find anyone with reall number comparisons, due to the fact that to effectively port the intake it has to be matched to the heads so most people do both at the same time
with that being said it did look pretty
and not only are the runners enlarged but behind the throttle body (not just the holes) is also enlarged
