harland sharp rockers, any good?

have an opportunity to pick up a set of these (1.6/,7/16). How are they compared to others like pro mags and how well would they work w/ stock cam and 918 springs?

In your situation, they are going to be more than adequate. You will have to run guideplates with those. Soak them in oil overnight before you install them.

And make sure you run some hardened pushrods with the guideplates.

Probably not. Those are some nice parts you have there. Nice to see your doing it right, even if you are using the stock cam. You'll be all set, if you up-grade in the future.

Speed inc. is very fond of the Crowers. I would have purchased them, but everyone seems to think the Promags are just fine.

A little trimming may be needed inside, and the baffle will have to be crushed narrower with a pair of pliers but that's about it.
