i was able to take the starter off and slip my hand in there to change the plug without disconnecting the exhaust. headers make things easy it's the A.I.R pipe that make #2 a PITA

Re: Hardest plug change

Actually it's drivers side 1,3,5,7
passengers side 2,4,6,8

and #2 sits right below the ALT and has to be changed from the top

Re: Hardest plug change

This is an easy question, its the bitch on the front of the block on the passenger side.
I used a 1" extenstion and a short rachet with a pivot, helped mucho.

All the driver's side from the bottom and all the passenger side from the top.. its easiest for me!

Re: Hardest plug change

Damn, number 2?!?!?! That took me no more than 5 minutes with the alternator still on the car. Reasone number 8 was a PITA was because I didn't remove the starter and my arm wasn't long enough from the top. I had the brother under the car guiding me and got it. I think the next time I ever do plugs on an LT1 FBody it will take no more than 2 hours. I didn't have to use any u-joint sockets. Just the spark plug socket, small extention and ratchet.

BTW. my hands are not that small. I just know how to more/work them
