drag race alternator???

Looks like a need a new Alt. for the 95 Z. I've got all accessories deleted and the low mount Alt. What would be best for light weight and good juice? I have no power stuff other than an electric water pump so I'm thinking 100 amp, maybe less. Recommendations?

Tia,

Dave

Don't skimp on an alternator for a fuel injected engine.... the fuel pump needs power, the injectors, etc.

I have to agree with all the electronics in these cars it's best just to get a good alternator. I know people want to get there car light as possible, but some parts you just have to settle with. I'm just surprised no ones made a light weight plastic/type engine block yet. Some of the newest plastics out there are lighter and stronger than most metals and could possible even take high heat. (yeah I know thats a long shot but it would be funny if someone did create a engine like that)
