Harder starting when warm, LT installation related

I removed both the heads to have a bolt extracted and have them cleaned so I'm kinda wondering if its a valve lash problem, if thats possible. Anyways, when I go to start the car cold, it fires instantly, like it always did. When I go to start it when its already warm, it turns over a few times, catching a few sparks, like the timing is off. I mean it only takes like 3 seconds or so but its kinda annoying. Most of the time, I instinctively put the accelerator to the floor and then it revs alive. I had the motor down to the block, except for the front accessory part, so alot of sensors were removed. Any ideas? Runs great besides that, I do miss some very bottom end power which is expected.
