Funny you mention that because just the other day I started mine on fire and it had a hole in it so i had to cut it to fix it. I'm positive air got in there but by now the air should have been gone and I'm positive it has nothing to do with my car shutting off at 180*.

what are the mileage on your injectors?

mine did this with the stock injectors. i would drive for an hour or so, kill it and go to leave and it would turn over forever before catching. sometimes taking two or three key turns to get it to start. replaced the injectors with new ones and the problem went away immediately.

Not sure the mileage on the injectors but they are more than likely the same ones from day 1 which means they have 100k. My car will not start no matter how many tries I give it. It has to be cooled down until it starts again. I'm ordering a new ect right now.

I'm having a hard time believing that it has to cool down past 180* to start up normally, or else I think a lot of us would be having this problem, I'll look at the temp from the ecm temp sensor next time.

No, it's more like it shuts off right at 180* every time. It needs to cool down to 140-150ish before it starts again. Weird.
