Thumbs up Halfway through my header install ...

So I'm installing my Pacesetter long tubes and ORY tommorow. I started tonite at about 6, and by 9ish, a little after, I had the Starter, Alt, Y pipe, and Manifold on the Driver Side off. All I really have to do now before I put them in is take the passenger side manifold off, and disconnect that steering linkage.

Whats worse Drivers side or Pass. side to get the manifold off. Ive yet to look at the Pass. Side manifold ...

On a side not ... Holy **** do the stock manifolds suck. Could be one of the worst designs ever. Now i see why bolt on F-Bodys respond so much better then Stangs ... A ford manifold looks about 1000 Times less restrictive.

Just wait till you drive it with the headers on. Then, you will really feel how restrictive your manifolds were.

On my car, the passenger side manifold was tougher because of the dipstick and limited clearance on that side of the engine.

Yeah, I would probably agree. Although, contrary to most people's experience, my drivers side headder was the biggest biotch. I had to grind down on the K member.
