the ss would take for ever to fire up. i would have to crank and crank it till she finally kicked over. and it would idle around 600 and pop and bang on decel really bad.

i figured it was the opti, original one w/ 83k on it, but i decided to put a coil on just for the hell of it. well i guessed right. the coil fixed it right up

i also wash the motor atleast 3-4 times a year and the water pump has dumped water on it twice now and its still going strong.

for some reason people have it stuck in their head if its an lt1 and it has problems, its the opti...
