Thumbs up Had cat removed

I went to the shop the other day because the z was acting funny and they told me the cat was clogged up. I thought well, might as well get an Off road pipe. Cost me $60 and it sounds awseme. The exhaust is completly stock, down to the manifold and it sounds really good. Ive alread gotten thumbs up on it. So for anyone out there questioning it i say go for it. you wont be disappointed.

I've got the Off Road Pipe too... It works very well and yes, I do get compliments with it too.

I've got an off road pipe, slp shorties, and no muffler. I get lots of looks also. Couple of these too. I love it.

I'm getting a custom off road pipe made when my LTs go in. Cats are useless.

Hmm, I've got fresh new cats on my car and it really didn't make to much of a difference, maybe just a notch quieter, of course they are the aftermarket soundcats, and very free flowing. I love having cats so much better than without, I can now breath clean exhaust, instead of raw gas. Don't know how you you big cam/heads guys can drive without them, the fumes in the compartment are probably strong enough to get you high!

Yeah, I fell in love with my car all over again once I took my cats off. You get a totally different sound. It idles so much better too. Better throttle response. Taking off cats did a lot. I love it.
