Jeff,

Less overlap than a cc306, & a hair smaller than the 847 . Of course any decent cam in that range is going to surge a bit at low rpm & put an emphasis on tuning. Luckily it appears you know what yer doin

200hp worth of n2o huh? I say go for it, just get video .

Thx guys,

-Phil

jeff definitely knows what he is doing! i went up their with a friend of mine with a blown 383 ls1 trans am about a month ago and he did a damn good job. another friend of mine from wv took his lt1 z28 with a d-1 up there last week and he was well pleased too! i have a couple more friends that are thinking about going up their as well.

Hey Marshall!!

Brian, the more I think about it the more I think the leaness of "Standard" jets NX was recommending is probably the high mileage stock fuel pump. So, I don't think the bigger jets we were scared to run would not have helped us.

Phil, yeah, I know a cam that makes a lot of power isn't going to idle and drive like stock. I can get it pretty close, but as Brian and Eric can attest to, it takes a little work, but I'm definately up to the chore.

heh heh, can't wait for the new pump and jet kit to go in, agreed we need video.

I was very impressed with the numbers the car made on friday. Jeff done a very good job with the tuning only thing left now is to work out a little of the cam surge down low other than that the thing runs damn good. The exaust is holding the car back tremendously he needs to try something different. It also seems that Phil done a pretty good job on the heads and cam even though I was serriously doubting him about a year ago, but good job man. We are gonna get another fuel pump im before long and try out a little bigger shot if we can just keep the bottle full for longer than one day.

Here's a better video I found, it's near 3mb, but pretty amusing

Pretty good numbers. So that is with a tune?

Well gee, coming from the man in the elky that means something . Maybe he'd do better if he just called comp up & told'em he wanted "a helluva cam."

nice numbers man. you gotta get over the exhaust barrier....3 words....4 inch Mufflex! they work wonders, and are loud as all heck. my car with full exhaust made 403rwhp and 378rwtq. And Jeff is pretty certain that there is a few more hp in there somewhere, I just need to work some things out and take it back to him.

I did get some track times with it. she went 12.19 at 117.5 with a 1.98 60ty.....there is mid 11's all over this car.

Eric,

Awesome to hear you're back keeping it & driving it . Nice et/trap considering the 2sec sixty, you guys should get some more video .

Brian,

You want a mufflex? I still have my 4" spintech mufflex with a ypipe for hooker LT's. You'll need someone to weld it together, and the tips are long gone (i preferred it w/o tips, harder to see, sounded better to me), but it might work for you. I believe I'm going to duals this time around
