Re: H/C LT1 results

Your numbers are fairly close to my last years track passes...Check out my sig for what a 1.55 60' would do for your 1/8th...Have since changed a few things Kooks LTs, EWP and Bogarts with 275 50 15 M/T Radials...trying for 1.4Xs...

Re: H/C LT1 results

i run 275/50/15 mt radials on my car. Just about all the bolt ons, a cam, and some gas. 1.53 60 has been the best i've cut so far. Only suspension mods are lca's and relos. car probably weighs 3560 or so with me in it maybe more. Try and find a track that will prep it and try it there.

I thought that these tires didn't require much of a burnout? Also, won't I start to cup the tires under 12psi on a 10" rim?

Re: H/C LT1 results

Believe it or not, I ran the times in my sig with 20 psi and a 5 second burnout in 2nd gear @ 4000. When I nail it off the line come 11-4-06, I expect a 1.50 60ft.
If your car is working, the MT DR's will hook.

When I ran the the 11.50s I was 381rwhp/370 rwtq on the Dynojet...Changing to Kooks stepped LTs and an EWP and the numbers are very similar only now on a Mustang Dyno which is what I will continue to use..I run 3.73s in my 12 bolt and a 3600 Vig...

3650 race weight, built 4L60E and I launch off idle, no transbrake...It went a 10.98 at 120 on the Mustang dyno 1/4 mile blast with a 1.35 60' with the addition of an EWP and stepped Kooks...It should go 11.20s for real with the new mods, provided I can get the 60' into the 1.40s range...

Man I wish I could hook. I weigh about 150-175 less than you and were making about the same power (387 on a mustang). Good luck with your goal to 10's!!
