Guys who run skinnes up front everyday?

Hey i am thinking about getting some skinnes for the front but its my daily driver. How is the driveability? I know on turns i have to be careful but what about otherwise? IS there anything else that makes it a problem? Thanks in advance.

I ran Convo Pros last year and have a set of Bogarts for this year. I don't drive it daily, but it does see a lot of street time. I drove it from my house to Memphis and back on skinnies last year(half in the rain) and had no problems.

Just watch out for potholes/broken bridge joints and be very careful on on ramps and turns.

Yep. I had Bogarts until last week (traded them), and I just took it easy on turns and avoided potholes with extreme prejudice.

For the most part, I got tired of avoiding potholes, etc, and the stress that went with bending expensive wheels, so I went back to running 17's. I lost 1/10th at the drag strip by going with 17's over 15's w/ skinnies and about 2mph. The skinnies do make ya faster in a straight line, that's for sure. Especially Bogarts, which are feather light. Lighter than Welds.

Michael

Thanks

Thanks for the replies. I am thinking of trading some 17s for a set of pro stars with skinnes up front. I cant decide what to do. I am just afraid becasue it is my daily driver. Do the skinnes really bend that easy?
