I remember when my opti went out, ac locked up and starter died with in the course of a month, I didnt have the cash for a new ac comp, so Speedmiser was selling his 1LE pulley, he wanted 25 for it. I went to go pick it up but got lost going to his house, the next day he met me up at a resturant and took 5 bucks of the price, it was a brand new peace, he even bought me a coke.

Yes, it is supposed to be the exact same price that you would get at the UPS Hub. We don't have any upcharge anymore. The cheapest way is to just do it all online and to drop it off at a UPS Store. In fact if a UPS Store is caught doing that puposely then there contract is automatically pulled and there store is sold. It is in the contract that you have to sign in order to become a UPS Store.
Damn, good to know. I know mailboxes etc used to upcharge, I figure that the "UPS STORE" should be the same exact price as they carry the UPS name.

Kudos to "polcat"

FWIW, I think that honest people far outnumber the scammers, but what he did was above and beyond!

I haven't bought anything off this site, but I've bought quite a few parts off people off the 'net and they've all been good transactions so far!

I actually am a Moderator of the Classifieds Section over on www.corral.net (Mustang Site)...I always HATE seeing people get ripped off

Try USPS Priority Mail for smaller items too.
I got something from Hawaii in 2 days[to NJ]and it was regular priority mail rate if I recall?
It can get pricey though when you get into any amount of weight.

Yeah Priority Mail is good for small items. But if it is of any importance i would do either UPS or FedEX. You will want that tracking #. I shipped items Priority Mail for customers and 3 weeks later getting yelled at because there stuff hasn't got there yet. All i can tell them is that "it should of got there already but there is no way to track it. Sorry".

Good point.
Also make sure the clerk puts the Priority sticker etc on the box or it goes Parcel Post[ not good!] I had that happen once it took 9 days NJ to Calif.
But generally it's good[ especially to Hawaii etc]

I think I've found one of the main benefits of working for a big company.

Fedex OVERNIGHT up to 5 pounds is only 5 BUX. Not too shabby. $80 for anything overnight is highway robbery. UPS's charges for roughly 2 lbs shouldn't be more than $25.
