Thoughts? Tried selling my car for $5500 a while back but got no interest. I figure, should his car be clean, I could sell it and pick up a cheap auto ls1 and shoot for 11s on the cheap.

I would keep the lt1. I thought your car would be faster than a 12.4 though. I would rebuild the lt1 to a 383 with some more head work and larger cam; maybe le3 heads with le2 cam.

It will only put down about 360 to the ground as it sits, so 12.4 isn't too far off. Nitrous will be my next power mod, rebuild will hopefully never be needed.

that car is pretty fast. all it does is boil the tires. granted they're just street tires with no sidewall.

I put the 255 pump in the car a few weeks ago.
