Those look like the comp cams guideplates which won't work on our heads. Get the Isky adjustables or GMPP ones.

GM plates 14011051 or adjustable is all I would consider. Those look to fit regular SBC engines and the the spacing for the pushrods on the LT1 is not identical.

There are conflicting views in that post anyway, and guideplates wear based on other factors too. Pushrod length, quality of the pushrods, making sure your studs are tight, and things like these have an impact. I have 4500 miles on my GM guideplates with no wear. I am using comp hardened pushrods and made sure the rocker was centered on the stem. Overrevving and putting a slight bend to some pushrods will also cause guideplate wear and will also increase the harmonics of the valvetrain at high rpm.

All true, but keep in mind that GMPP has a history of not hardening some of their parts properly. Do a search on GMPP LT4 ED timing gear teeth!
