Which guages would be best?

If a Stall goes, it usually isn't a gradual process. If the turbine breaks, it's likely gonna send metal pieces to the trans and damage it as well, and if applicable, the tranny cooler too. It is also highly unlikely that ur stall is "starting to go" because of high temp. Heat is a byproduct, not a direct reflection of tranny/stall life.
I didn't think I was speaking another language...maybe I was! An oil temp gauge will benefit an M6 AND an A4...my point being that it's more crucial to have one on a stalled A4...am I wrong? Yes it would help to have one on an M6 in order to keep track of everything...I never said it didn't....just assumed it made more sense to have one on an A4...

We don't want this guy to get the wrong idea from your posts. That's why me, limiteded1le and Injuneer are questioning u, cuz it seems like ur just making stuff up.

Since you have an M6 there's not a lot of point in having a trans temp or oil temp...
A/F is pretty popular even though our O2's don't send that accurate of information to begin with....

Maybe what we have here is a problem with "semantics".... an "oil temp gauge" in my mind, refers to (as I indicated in my earlier post) an ENGINE oil temp gauge. Since you are talking about the oil running through a stalled A4, it appears we are talking about two completely different things.
