Question Need another Guage....?

Also I forgot this one.. I am putting together my car now and I have been looking at what guages I might want to have I have a three Guage A-pillar and a dual guage pillar that will go somewhere next to the drivers console or under the air vents or on top of the radio I don't know yet. But I have all my stock guages working..

Speed
RPM
Oil Pressure
Volts
Coolant Temp
Fuel Level

Now I need five other spaces filled I was thinking;

NOS Pressure
Trans Temp
Fuel Pressure
Boost
and ??????

Need one more anybody have any ideas????

Thanks for all the help..

Kevin

Oil temp.
More important than water temp.

you should only have guages for what your going to use.......

seeing as how they vary on each setup it will make a difference.

although if i was running N2O or a blower i would definately want the fuel pressure an some type of air/fuel ratio guage! i've heard the trans temp is an important guage as well so you might want to look into that.

boost pressure as well as N2O pressure are a given when running those setups so that's at least 3 for sure.

The stock gauges are not highly accurate.

Fuel pressure is nice however you can't have a fuel line inside the car. It will either have to be an electric gauge or a mechanical one with a fuel isolator on the firewall.

Since you're relying on factory gauges for most of the important things there's not much left you actually need a gauge for.

Tranny temp is inportant especially if you have a converter that's higher than stock.
Engine oil temp is nice but not really needed since it should be a little lower temp than the coolent.

A vacuum gauge hooked to the intake manifold is nice to have.

I only have 6 gauges in my race car. 7 if you count the tach.

Oil pressure
Tranny temperature
Engine coolent temperature
Voltage
Crankcase boost/vacuum gauge (I run a vaccum pump to the crankcase)
Pyrometer (tells me how hot the exhaust is)

OK I lied. I have another gauge. I have a mechanical fuel pressure gauge mounted on the cowl under the hood scoop.
