Gtech Pro .... Good or garbage?

Gtech Pro .... Good or garbage?

I was just lookin for some stuff on ebay and stumbled across a gtech pro.... i've wanted one for a while but the whole concept seems a lil shaky...
anyone use these before? are they accurate or a waste of money?
btw... ebays got a ton of em for 80$ and free shipping.. at that price i think i may get one if ppl have good things to say

I'd rather go with Tazzo. I've heard it's alittle more accurate plus they're a vendor here, I believe.

actually, i just bought the gtech pro competition about week ago, i think it works pretty damn good considering all you gotta do is plug into your cigarette lighter. i guess about 13.9 for my 1/4 mile and thats what it gave me, ive gotten 13.8 a few times and a few times higher so i kinda average them.

my experience w/ the gtech is the times is usually a few tenths off and the trap is way off

I've tested the G-Tech Pro at the track. Times were ~1/10 off and mph was ~4 high. However, what was important here was even though the times were off, they were off consistently with the track. Meaning, if I ran .03 slower via the track time as my previous run, the G-Tech showed similar results.

Well worth the money IMO. However, I'd consider getting the Competition model or the Tazzo instead. Not "that" much more money but those do a bit more.

I'll move this to the LT1 Tech forum. This is more a tech related topic than appearance related
