GRRRR Brake light/turn signal problems(shoebox please help)
Ok on my '94 Formula my turn signals DO NOT work. The right one usd to work every now and then but now it doesn't. Also the left brake light will not work, the driving light is fine, but when you step on the brake it gets dim.
Let me clairify the turn signals, they come on, but no blinking at all. Just solid. The flashers do work though.I have checked all fuses, bulbs, and replaced the flasher. Nothing. I talked to a guy at an electrical/AC shop and he said it might be the "turn signal switch". Whats this swith, where is it, how much to replace?
If ANYONE knows what is causing this please speak up before I get a ticket or something. Thanks very much.

You say the hazard flasher lights all the correct elements and that seems normal?
The turn signal switch is in the steering column. You may also want to check the connectors at the base of the steering column to make sure they are all tight.
