which RR's do i want

Im thinking about getting the crane gold roller rockers, but i need some advice on which ones to choose.

First whats the difference between self aligning and non self alinging.

I here with the 1.6 ratio some people are getting coil bind when running stock springs, so how much of a loss in power is their with the 1.5 ratio compared to the 1.6 ratio. Basically is it worth it to get the 1.6 raito if im planning on running stock springs.

Thanks,
Greg

to not have to use new studs and guideplates, you want 1.6 self aligning 3/8" stud

non self aligning 7/16" stud require new studs AND you need guideplates

Someone please correct me if I am misinformed......

you will need new springs if you ever get a cam so just go with 1.6 pro mags, non self aligning, 3/8's if you are going with a mild cam or if you got a big cam with big springs go 7/16

I have been thinking about the Crane's self aligning 1.6. I dont plan on getting a cam now, but later. However, I am curious about one thing, elongating the push rod. Is the push rod going to get into a bind inside its slots inside the heads? Will I need to open this guide hole for the rods so they dont get into a bind? Maybe better way to say it is will the Crane 1.6 self align require any mods?

Thanks.
