I'm sure Shoebox will know. But there's two in front on the engine bay, in front of the radiator, on either side. Little black wires bolted down. Also that red box on the passenger side strut tower. There are some in the hatch too, I can't remember if its behind the tailights or in the behind those removable speaker panels. Maybe both. HTH

If I'm not mistaken, I believe there is 1 on the front of the engine block on the driver's side.

There are ~13 different main ground locations all over the car. What is it you are after?

RH side of engine block by the motor mount-battery cable ground.

LH shock tower (seen in upper part of left pic) next to the red plastic 12v junction-3 rings, 5 wires.

LH front of head where the coil bolts on-3 rings, 3 wires and braided ground strap.

RH side of engine block above the starter.

One on each side of the radiator on the top of the radiator support.

Left front frame rail by the cruise control. Braided ground strap (to coil stud) and ground for cruise control.

Under LH (right above the hood release and hidden by my label) and RH (just barely visible in the top right of the pic) kick panels is a large ground lug.

MAke sure you realize these are 'HOT'... 'not grounds'..
As shoebox said it's the stud just to the rear of the 'red box' that are grounds..

THe '3rd' ground on the psgr side shock tower stud comes from the negative battery cable..

Like Charlie said, there is one big one that goes to the negative side of the battery. The two rings you have, should have two wires each on them.

Re: Grounds on 95 LT1

Sorry for reviving such an old thread but i an desperate. I am having issues with my lights and the general consensus is that it is a ground. I need to locate ALL grounds and am having trouble hunting them all down. Shoebox seems to know where they all are but the links to the pics no longer work. Please assist, NEW member in desperation!!! Thanks

Re: Grounds on 95 LT1

The grounds are all shown in the factory service manual. See section 8A - Electrical. What is the year and model of your car? There can be slight differences between the Camaro and Firebird, and from year-to-year.

Download the correct manual (free) here:

https://www.mediafire.com/?40mfgeoe4ctti

Shoebox has the schematic for the 1995 Camaro lighting. Grounds are identified starting with the letter “G”. For example “G106” for part of the headlight system. The factory manual has a list of grounds in each system, and tells you where they are located.

Re: Grounds on 95 LT1

Thanks for your reply. I started reading the service manual however it says that it is book 1 of 2 and 8a is in book 2. Am I missing something, is the second manual in the download list. Sorry if I missed it, sometimes my head is where the sun don't shine.
