while at the dealership today, I priced a new oem coil...and was quoted about 46.00 I think.

Do you guys really think I should refrain from the msd or accel coils....due to roasting the opti or whatever?

There is no proof that an aftermarket coil causes any problem.

 

Go with the aftermarket coil. Optis go out because Optis go out. When it's your time, that's it.
