My gosh, most of you people are missing the entire purpose of the Granatelli MAF.

The Granatelli MAF has a CALIBRATED sensor. Thus, it should report ACCURATE values and work similarly to a stock MAF. The Granatelli MAF is in no way similar to a stock MAF with ported housings. I've done some testing of my Granatelli MAF and have found it to be at least extremely close in its calibration.

FWIW, I'm currently using a Granatelli MAF on my 450hp n/a 96SS and intend on using one on my fully built 383 supercharged 94Z28 (when the new engine goes in).

SiDeWayZz28, if you got it for a $100 I don't think you went wrong at all. In fact, if all these replies are scaring you, I'd be happy to give you $100 for it so you'll have no "worries"

However, with all that I've said, I don't think the Granatelli is your 100% complete answer to winning the races you have coming up. You may get a little out of the Granatelli but I doubt it will be enough to make a difference in all those races

I'll also vouch for the GMS. I bought one used on ebay and have nothing but good to say about it. Combined with the nice short, staight intake tract of a WS6, a smooth bellows, and a 52mm throttle body it works very well. I noticed an immediate SOP difference even before the other mods. Plus, it is a few pounds lighter than the stocker so you're very slightly improving weight distribution. But like you said every little bit counts.

It did nothing for me. Going to get around to putting the stock MAF back in.

Mine was worth 14rwhp on a dynojet. I brought my stock one along and tested it against the Gmaf. I have a bolt on car right now tho, it will probably get tossed when I do any motor work.
