Well, that video doesn't do it much justice. You really need to be standing next to one and it's definitely there. I dyno'd my car last Friday and have video of it, but unfortunately JVC vid camera's have SUCKY instructions for swapping over to a computer and I can't figure it out..

Yeah, to be honest, the cam is not all that aggressive. Its still a great cam and i dont regret gettin it.

I also agree, the pcmforless guys (bryan) can really mask that cam really well. All my buddies say that they cant even hear my cam (and hate on my car because they all drive RUSTangs), which is fine with me. I like it better that way. When i do my gears, i might have them reprogram it so i can hear the lope more just like you luckyou03.

Cam sounds good man. It definitely has some lope to it. Its odd that an LT4 cam will lope as loud as that one does. I have a little bigger cam, but for a good streetable cam with a nice power band, you can't beat it. Now throw on some 1.6RRs and you will have a nice little sleeper.

I really wasted going for a sleeper. I would have gone bigger if I had the cash. I was forced to rebuild and motor and I used the only funds available. I'll be more happy this it when I get the new tune.

You should have just gotten the hot cam kit from GM. I got mine from a dealership where a friend of mine works for like $525 and that includes everything, 1.6 rr's, lifters, spacers, and cam... its nice.

But nonetheless, for just the hot cam in there, it sounds really good.

It is the Hotcam from GM dealership. I got new lifters, LT4 springs and cam for $250. The guy I bought it from kept the roller rockers for his bigger cam.

How about some 1.7 rr's? I have the scorpions and after about 2k miles I of driving I can not longer hear them.... they got so quiet.

I am planning going with the HotCam and keep the Beehives and Scorpions 1.7's some day. What do you guys think? I know I can also used some head porting and long tubes but thats down the road for now...

By the way his beast sounds bood man... he sold me on the hotcam. You sure he aint working for GM?

I would go to 1.7 but then I'd have to buy new springs again and I just got these. I'll settle with 1.6's when I upgrade.
