Got an issue with head/block/gasket?

So three week ago i pulled the car out of the garage and noticed it was losing alot of coolant. So i popped the hood and looked over to the pass. side to see coolent setting between the block and the header gasket. So i'm like..!@$(!@$&&!$@. So i start talkin to some friends that day. Both engine builder ( 1 -400+hp 383 and 1 SR383LTx) Both good guys with the LT1's. They both say, popped a head gasket. So i started thinkin, what do i do pop the head off in the car, try to stab on another one, what if it happens again?

So a week later i yank the motor and pull it apart over the next two weeks( i work alot) and i cant find what appears to be a bad spot on the gasket, cant see anything on the head, and the block surface appears to be in good shape.

Could the Deck be untrue? Could lloyd gotten to close to a water jecket?
Could the head be cracked and its to small to see? Could the head bolts have backed out and that cause it to leek. The motor had sit long enough to warm up and maybe when something was starting to expand it started to leak?

What steps should i take befor i try putting the motor back together.
