Can you take the camera a little further from the exhaust? You're overloading the microphone.

Try a good 20 ft back to get a better recording.

Sounds good, but it's hard to tell.

Congrats on the install. Any leaks?

Right now I have hooker with cat, but I have off road pipe (with welded cut out) sitting in my trunk. I was wondering how much lauder hooker will sound without cat???
Thanks

It still seems the same at idle, but louder when you get on it. The install was easy as hell.....the Y-pipe leaks a little, but no big deal, I can barely hear the leaks, and they're after the O2 sensors so I could care less. Install was straight forward...both headers slid in from the bottom without any motor jacking or K-member grinding or anything. I didn't touch the motor mounts. The coating on the headers is awesome too.
Any other questions feel free to ask

Matt

did you drive to the exhaust shop with open headers(technically open Y pipe)

reason i ask is. i didn't order the y pipe because i've heard pacesetter's Y pipes don't fit too well. so i'm just going to have one fabricated at an exhaust shop.

wondering if the shop had any problems(moral/legal)....seeing as how you removed that cats.
btw, i don't have emmissions here.

It's loud at WOT, and pretty tame at idle/part throttle....just not loud enough to rattle the interior.....I ran a cutout for 7 months so I know how that is, lol. I drove to the exhaust shop 40 minutes w/open Y-pipe and damn it was crazy loud......the shop I went to specializes in F-body ****, and they're real cool.....so he didn't care if I had cats or not.
