Cut A/C line, need help reconnecting.

Well I cut the A/C line, the top one where you refill at, and I've tried to connect it together with a plastic coupler and hose clamps, but it will not seal with the pressure, even with the low pressure side.

Anybody know how I can do this? Its on the rubber part of the hose line, shouldn't it seal right up? I mean the low pressure side can't be more than 60psi right? I'm wondering why its not sealing.

you have to replace the line that you cut. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY. Operating pressure is way too high.

Yeah I figured that, maybe I should have somebody do it, I really don't feel like removing that whole AC line and reconnecting the back of it to the compressor, especially with the MAC's, its a cheap item though, just need the O-rings I think.
