got her dynoed

251rqhp and 284rwtq... i think thats good for intake/cutout...

i was suprised with the cutout capped it only put out 240rwhp and 274rwtq tho...

i wonder what it would be SAE corrected... like 260hp and 290tq something?

(it was about mid/high 70s)

i also cant believe i picked up over 10rwhp and 10rwtq from a cutout?

petty good IMO for an A4 (20% drivetrain loss).

yeah, contrary to popular belief....cutouts do add HP!!!!! i have been preaching them for years.

I would think cutouts only add hp if your exhaust setup doesnt flow well enough, but I assume they would have to provide at least a minimal gain on any setup if you put it before the cat.

They should have given you the numbers "SAE corrected". If they did, it will indicate it on the sheet.

it wasnt there... i also found out SAE reading will be less, not more

also my friends told me NA i should be at 14 a/f not 11.8 thats WAY too rich for NA...

so with a lil tune (or the PCM i get) i should be looking over 260rwhp and 300rwtq

i have had damn near every catback imaginable and my cutout always was good for at least a tenth at the track.

go back with a good base tune and then have someone there with u to dyno tune it. that is the best way to really dial it in.
