Got the car started.....kinda
Well my dad and I kinda hotwired the car. We took a wire from a fuse under the hood and hooked it to the coil. The car started fine. Now I am just gonna have to see where the wire on the coil goes to. My dad used to be a mechanic back in the day, so he thought this up. And it worked. He also said GM uses wires that are like fuses, if they get to hot they will break apart and stop working or something like that. I am gonna have to trace a red wire with a black stripe to see where it goes. That is the wire that we hooked it up with and it has to be the cause of it not starting.
So, does anyone know where the red wire with the black stripe from the coil goes. I can get a picture of the wire if need be.
Thanks
James

What it is trying to say is that the pink wire goes to fuse #11 in the under hood (U/H) fuse/relay panel and the circuit is powered when the ignition is ON. That is a 1995 wiring diagram. Your fuse may/may not be in exactly the same position, but should be in the same panel.
