I recently purchased the N224XL kit from CMotorsports. Everything looks great but the cam card says the gross valve lift is INT.503/EX.510

Did I get the wrong cam? The part number is 07-503-8 and the grind is LT1 XR276HR-12. The LSA is 112.

The card is usually stated with 1.5 rockers. Take the lobe lift at the bottom of the cam card and multiply it by 1.6 and I bet you will find what they are advertising. What they advertise is usually with 1.6 rockers.

 

Comp Cams Xtreme Energy P/N 07-503-8 is a Cam Grind Number 276HR-12. 224 intake/230 exhaust @ .050. Lift is .503/.510 (1.5 rr) @ 112.

1.6/1.5 x .503 = .536 lift with 1.6 rr
1.6/1.5 x .510 = .544

It looks like you got what you ordered. It's a stock Comp cam.
