What happens if you have AIR programmed out of your PCM (or ECM for me) and still have the AIR stuff hooked up?

Is their a performance advantage of deleting AIR from the ECM?

Why do you remove the A.I.R. system if you gain no performance??

Well when you remove your cat... You dont need your AIR system anymore. Pull it.

Hmm, ic. I wouldn't mind having more stuff out from under the hood. I am not emissions legal NOW, but we have no inspections. For some reason I still have a mild fear of being TOO emissions legal, afraid of small possibilities that we could ever get inspections back and I couldn't get everything back to legal w/o alot of money and work.

...if you leave the solenoid, what do you do with the wires?

There's only one plug that runs to the solenoid. If you're leaving the solenoid might as well keep that plugged in. Wont hurt anything. As long as you've got your intake all sealed up.
