Good Place to Tap Switched Ignition for MSD?

Hi-

I would like to know where suggested places are to tap a switched ignition wire for install of a MSD RPM switch and for a shift light. I have the grounds and the rpm switch all planned.

I just installed a MSD 6AL with the MSD harness and it was a breeze.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Still Need Interior Switched Tap point...

So I have the MSD and RPM switch all set under the hood by tapping into the red wire off of the coil for switched power.

What switched circuit easy to reach from the inside? I could do the cig lighter but that is hot all the time. Any issue with tapping that and having it hot all the time? Should never be on unless the signal is received from the RPM switch.

I checked shbox's site and I do not have the cool little link under the console.

There is a spot in the fuse panel to tap both switched and unswitched power from.

The end of dash fuse panel has two small square holes, each with a 1/4" spade lug in it. The one labeled "IGN" is switched power.

This is the location (orange wire) on my Formula. The Z28 fuse block is upside down compared to the Firebird.
