Re: Good Performance Fuel Injector???
Stock injectors are great for well over 300 RWHP which you are well off of. I wouldn't spend the money right now. The only reason to change is because your require much more fuel ( cam, strocker, etc) or you have a dry N20 system.

Re: Good Performance Fuel Injector???
You are exactly right, the stock injectors will hold up for anything you can throw at them for up to 350hp but they will still work for a 400hp application but you will run a little lean on the upper end. I would suggest keeping them in until you stroke it out or run a dry kit, but wet is better. So unless your stroking or fully modified with cam and heads dont do it. I have a 388 ci LT1 running on stock injectors and it runs alright but it needs atleast 50# injectors/255 fuel pump and a tune to run right but it is running on the stock injectors but it runs like crap. My car would run out of fuel on the dyno right now.
Re: Good Performance Fuel Injector???
sorry guys i forgot to mention that i need the injectors right now becuz i had my car on the scope today at work and it turns out my car needs 1 & 2 injectors so i want to replace all of them...whats the stock lbs for the stock injectors??.thanks
Re: Good Performance Fuel Injector???
Get FMS/SVOs WAY too many bad experiances with Accels, just do a search here and see what I mean.
The are available in 24lbs but it is rated that at 39psi as opposed to our 43.5psi, the pcm will compensate for the small amount at part throttle but WOT will get richer so ideally you would tune for them but they will work without it.

Re: Good Performance Fuel Injector???
Check any of the board "suppoting vendors" like T. Byrne, JEG's or Thunder Racing. They are very easy to find.
One thought... why not find two used stock injectors? The intake manifold was designed for the spray pattern of the stock injectors. They fit correctly between the stock rails and the intake holes. The retainer clip fits correctly. Its not the same as other types of injectors. It should be possible to find two good used injectors rather than a whole set of SVO's. Or send them out and have them checked and cleaned. The shops that do this will have replacements at low $$ if yours can not be restored to normal.

Re: Good Performance Fuel Injector???
i'd buy bigger than needed now with expecting for more accomodations. you can always de-tune the injectors. and tuning the PCM will do wonders for the car any ways....i'd still go bigger than stock.
at least some 32-6lb injectors.

They're inexpensive and everywhere.
