Good LT1 shop/tuner in Houston?

Hey guys,

I am looking to have my 383 LT1 camaro with AI heads and cam repaired and tuned. Anyone have a recommendation for a shop here in Houston with experience working on LT1s? Not many people still tinker with them, it seems.

Too bad Madman moved from Houston to Prairieville, La. Killer LT1 work. Might be worth the drive.

Unfortunately, not any options these days for LT1's here in Htown. Pavlock up in Tomball did my cam about 2 years ago, and there really isn't a tuner left here that wants to mess with them. Best bet is Mo Bailey in/around Austin as he does great work and Tony Shepard is in the Georgetown area and he can lend some help. Most guys are going 24x conversion to get them tuned locally.

I'd say Moe.

Thanks guys. So I can go 3 hours east or 3 hours west. What about in Dallas, on my way up to visit the folks in Oklahoma? I'm going to call G-Force in Pearland, Advanced Racing Dynamics in west Houston, and LG in Dallas and ask if they can do the work.

I can tell you right now you will be lucky to get Gforce to touch your LT1 as a buddy of mine on here and LStech knows the owner and had to beg him to work on and tune his LT1. As stated Moe is the best and you can hit him up on PM here or LStech and get him to tune your car, just need to find a local shop and rent some dyno time. Do the motor work yourself.
