Good Kit to make True Duals

Anyone on the internet sell a nice kit to make true duals coming off the Long Tubes. I would be using Pacesetter LT's but im looking for a nice kit preferibly with an X pipe that I could just use and bolt right up to my car and just dump it before the axle since its a PIA to get it all the way out the rear. Hopefully this could be done without much fabrication or bending or anything...do they make a nice kit for our cars? Thanks

P.S. Power/Sound differences with an "H" pipe opposed to a "X" pipe???

Re: Good Kit to make True Duals

i wasd thinkin on doin a similar setup for my LT's but i decided to go with the y pipe
but anyway summit has an h pipe setup that looks like it would be a perty easy instal with a couple of the bullit mufflers thrown on but with any setup like that theres gonna need to be a little fabrication but not much no bending i dont think just cutting which is why id go for H over X cause you just cut the center pipe to the length you need and no bends needed

there were these guys putting up a chainlink fence at my neighbor's house the other day. i'm sure you hook up with them, get some channel locks form harbor freight, and be good to go in less than a weekend. GOOD LUCK!

haha very funny...

Would an H-pipe really be that much easier...cuz i have always heard that the X-pipe is always the better way to go...but then again, that is just what ive heard.

Re: Good Kit to make True Duals

my preference would be an x pipe but you would need to do some bending to make i twork and that isnt something that i would want to deal with but with the h pipe you just cut the pieces to size
but if you have the the tools to bend the pipe i would go with the x-pipe because the gains are supposed to be better
but its your call

Re: Good Kit to make True Duals

I have summits universal x-pipe kit on my car......I also built one like this one http://www.sounddomain.com/id/orangetransam , But couldn't use this one when I got my Spohn TA.....So what I did was order the Summit Universal x-pipe kit and turned the x-pipe sideways and it cleared everything......No bending.... They didn't offer the Universal when I did the first x-pipe setup But it will work as exactly the Same as the one in the link....No bending.....Check it out

thanks...the set-up that the guy has on his orange car in that link looks really good..thats exactly what i was lookin to do...i wonder how well the ground clearance is...??? i would assume i would lose a little ground clearance with this.

Re: Good Kit to make True Duals

Made a world of difference...I believe the orange car's owner is/was allmotorta on here.....But as far as ground clearance it takes up a lil space under there....Of course I was using 3" so It does take up space.....The Summit universal kit is basically what the orange car has but is a kit....I would have been able to make it just the same as what it is on that car but the there was No way I was gonna clear Spohn TA with the xpipe going in the way he has it in the picture.....So I just turned it sideways and it cleared the TA no problem....IT allowed me to spread the pipes wide enough to clear the TA ...I thought it would hinder the performance.....Nope....The weekend before I put the x-pipe on (running Just 2 Flowmasters with a lil pipe after headers) my car ran 12.3's all day......Then after the x-pipe put back on weekend before last about the same temp and all first pass out was 12.14.....I am a believer......
