Re: is this a good exhaust setup

If you get a manual exhaust cutout and run it open all the time there will be a loud (depending on placement) drone inside the car and it can be pretty anoying for daily driving. The sound when you get on it is quite impressive though The soultion is of course an electric cutout but the electric valve can be expensive (about 179$ or so if I remember correctly).

I would say go with the Dynomax. i have two dumped before the axle and I have no drone inside the car. So one at the back will have a nice deep tone and no drone.

Do they make a bullet that has a 3" inlet and a 2 1/2" outlet? If so ill just put that in place of my flowmaster. How loud would that be compared to a Loudmouth? The car has headers no cats. Thanks

Re: is this a good exhaust setup

You could get a 3" to 2.5" reducer after the bullet.

No, the inside of your car will not shake. You have a chance of that happening if you got a poly tranny mount. If your car is stock, I would not worry about it.
Shaking usually comes from big cams or poly mounts.

I would say to not go with a cutout. Simply because the unmuffled sound is quite annoying for daily driving, and when you close the cutout, its simply not satisfying enough. Bullet muffler is the best way to go, hands down.
