the part number doens;t amke any sence.. but as far as I know you can only get a fully assembled opti from gm.. and thats what it looks like for an unvented aplication

 

maybe he bought it but cant use it anymore... gotta get rid of it

 

I called GM dealership parts today and they told me that the part (optispark) the same but the tech told me to "watch out" because the part number that the ebay seller had provided is "old part number compared to jason's cromers part number" but yet the same part. the part number at samtaylor.com is the new part number for the optispark. The part number provided on ebay crosses over to Jason Cromer's part number...

so i guess my question is, should I get this or go with jason cromer for 299. I will save 140 dollars if I go with ebay, but also dont want to buy anything thats not good and keep replacing them(no money) I am currently the winning bidder as of rightnow and I really dont know what to do.

for ebay people, if I do decide to go with Jason Cromer and since I already bid, if I won,, what happen to the ebay auction, are they still going to take it out my account or what? newbie on ebay..sorry

 

what do I do, I'm schedule for a diagnose at the dealership tommorow morning, my problem is low rpm hesitation about 2000 rpm and like stumbling, feel like its about to stop in the middle of the highway going 55mph. it runs like a charm for short trips maybe 6 miles, and then after about 45 minutes of traffic,,etc..cars run like is a POS! oil pressure bounces around 20 - 25 and idles at 1K jumping back and forth 1000 - 1100.



what should I have check the dealer (satan)lol.

I'm planning to replace my water pump and opti crap and probably ordering mine through jason cromer. The dealer charged me 330 dollars to replace water pump and opti. is that good?

 

Is that 330 with labor??? If so, GO FOR IT!!! If not, watch out. Thats one labor intensive job. Look to spend about 800 if that is without labor.

 

maybe i did not sound so clear, but 330 is only for labor to replace both the water pump and opti, i provide the parts.
what do you think of that price?

they priced me 70 dollars for dianosing my car tommorow and they said it will apply to the repair labor cost if i decided to repair the car.

what do you guys think?

 

I did extensive search on this board, and I saw a lot of members having the same problems with mine and they went to the dealership and the dealeship couldnt find anything wrong... i'm scared spending money with out a good result...

 

any experts?
