should be fine.......I only use reg oil, synthetic seems just a waste of money to me with no obvious advantage in my personal use

i hear ppl say things on both sides of the synthetic oil... i dont know for a fact because i havnt dyno tested my own personal car but... i do notice my engine runs alot smoother with synthetic than with regular.. and feels a lil peppier... maybe in part to the smoother running.. i run mobile 1 full synthetic extended something with the syntec stuff i think it costs me 30 bucks for a 5qt. jug not to much more expensive that good regular oil.. especially since you can run the synthetic a little longer it prolly evens out on the $$$

personally i think at this point i like the synthetic.. never know tommorow my engine may fly apart and i may curse it but for now im sold

what im really wanting to do is put the full synthetic royal purple in my transmission... i hear tho that when doing so if u drain and fill your not truely getting all the fluid out so u will have a mixture of both.. whats the best safest way to drain all fluid from transmission and fill back up so there is no mixture

Its not a problem going back, just change your oil every 3k, if your running a race motor synthetic is probably a better way to go.

still got the converter and everything on top and inside the valve body..

one of those trans flushers.....but I would not waste my time, alsy I think the trans flush machines strain the pump and I will never use one. We have one in the shop and alot of trans take a dump shortly after using it

just change the trans fluid twice to remove almost all of the old fluid.make sure to drive the car around for a little while after the first fluid change.
