GMMG with a bullet muffler

Has anybody put a bullet muffler before the GMMG mufflers, like where the resonator is on the SLP loudmouth. I have heard a few GMMG cat-backs and i thought it might be a little to loud for me with Longtubes and no cat. So if anyone has done this could you let me know what it sounded like please. I would think that it would have a little less rasp and the tone would be a little deeper.

I've never heard of anyone using them before a gmmg setup but I did hear them before a flowmaster setup and it wasn't any quieter, but alot deeper. I would imagine it would have the same effect.

I run mac's with no cat and a gmmg, and I don't think it's too loud at all, maybe for people behind me, but I don't think it's that bad

Well im more about the tone and the sound not the loudness. And ive got some gay cops around here that would pull me over in about 1/2 a sec. I mean ive got alot of respect for them but sometimes it gets a little rediculous.

Well looks like you'll just have to try it and lets us know i dont think that there is anyway that it would sound bad, and hey you can always take the bullet off.

Yeah i think i will do it. I will probably put it on ls1sounds.com just to let other people know what it sounds like. I just have to build it and find out how to put it on ls1sounds.

Re: GMMG with a bullet muffler

so you'd spend all that $$ on a gmmg exhaust just to cut it up and add a bullet muffler along with the resonators?

Re: GMMG with a bullet muffler

I found a used one real cheap and its not like its going to ruin it. If i dont like it all i have to do is take it out and weld some pipe in its place.
