It will work with nitrous but pound for pound the 306 might be a little better because of its larger exhaust duration compared to its intake, like alot of nitrous cams eg 224/236

it's fine for nitrous up to a 150 shot maybe a tad less, anything more you would want a 114 lsa per Crane.
