GM 847 in a daily driver (Stock Heads/A4)...thoughts??

FWIW, I have an 847ish cam in my 383, and I think it would be a great 350 cam if you like a top end pull. With the added cubes, the powerband is stock like, just alot more.
On the throttle body issue, just hook up a vaccum gauge and monitor it in the upper RPMs. Generally if you have more than 1-1.5" of vaccum under WOT you have a restriction. At my last dyno, I was seeing upto 3" of vaccum, but that was running a 52mm on a 383 turning upto 7000rpm, along with a stock WS.6 intake which leaves something to be desired.
