LOL, you're dreaming. Those exhaust numbers aren't even close. Even if the exhaust side was flown with a pipe, those are too high.

It's not a matter of false advertising...I'm sure the heads "made" those exhaust flow numbers, but the method they used to get them and the calibration of the flowbench are questionable.

Re: GM 847 Cam question

Why do you think its false advertising. They seem to have very similar numbers for stg 2 as LE does, just the exhuast see's the full CNC treatment as well.

Re: GM 847 Cam question

There is no way the exhaust flow is that high. Probably a typo on their site. Davenport Racing in Calgary carries TEA heads and the flow numbers they advertise are no where near that.

Email TEA.

Re: GM 847 Cam question

I've seen ported Track ones with less flow than that on the exhaust.

Re: GM 847 Cam question

TEA flows their heads with a pipe for the exhaust, that is the reason for the higher numbers...

Re: GM 847 Cam question

Looking at how they did on the intake side, I'd *guess* about 40-45 cfm lower on the exhaust side.

You got me thinkin. So I called Compcams for advice and they said that there is actually 60 thous. more in their springs. As I figured their underated. Probably for people like me, if says it's good to .600 that's what I'm pushin em to

Re: GM 847 Cam question

Yes, the 847 is made by Crane. Yes, the 847 is backordered indefinitely. I had my supplier check on the Crane with the same numbers, and it cost $85 more than the 847. Gee, for once something with a GM part number is CHEAPER than something aftermarket . I've had my 847 ordered for 2 months now.

your low and mid lift numbers are where your power is made not a 600 lift.

but those numbers about 45 to 50 cfm off
