GM 847 Cam Install Complete!!!
Well, fired it up last night ...and the sound is awesome! The idle is more doscile than I thought, but you can tell it has a cam . Drivability is great and there is a little cam surge...but not bad. At first, the car ran really sluggish; probably as slow as stock. However, the more I drive it the faster it seems to get. I think it is a little rich and needs a Dyno tune. I am presently running a program Ed Wright made for me based on the cam and injector change. I need to get it to Ed's and let him fine - tune it. I'll let you all know when I get dyno #'s and track times.

Congrats. Finished the same install about two weeks ago. I've also been surprised with the driveability. I'm running a tune based on a CC305 cam, and I'm definitely running rich. Biggest difference I've noticed is that my powerband has moved up a few RPM's and doesn't even begin to quit when I hit my rev limiter at about 6200. Hope to get a tune next week. Anyways enjoy man.

I just got to the track with mine and was dissapointed, not in the cam , but in my driving skills and my rev limiter, My rev imiter was set at just over 6000 rpm and I was banging off it on every gear every pass, I still managed to run my 3700 # car to 12.50s with a 2.2 60 foot and 112.8 mph, taking all the stuff I was doing wrong into consideration I think I can trap over 115, and run well into the 11s with some traction and a rev limiter over 6500.
