That's a big jump in power, but like Bret mentioned the lift on the old cam was rather low for the heads. Im guessing those heads flow pretty well past those lift #'s on the old cam.

I am far from being an expert, but come on. Something had to be off for my small Joe O. cam to have better #s than that solid roller.

dont forget it was through a th400 and a 12 bolt.I am sure a 6 speed would have made 400 but the things I didnt understand was why the power dropped off so fast but anyways like I said I got that cam out of there fast.
Maybe with the stock style intake it would have made more power down low I dunno
the a/f was perfect the car sounded good(no miss) I was not a happy guy that day but I am now with the other cam in the car(ty Steve Quinn)

im surprised that your car doesnt put down more torque, with that big of a solid roller i would of guessed 400+ at the tire. But your track times dont seem to have any affect from it. Odd

I would assume you had a problem before. That's a pretty big difference, a difference only normally seen when a BRE cam is compared to everything else in the world.

guess anything is possible but like I said the air/fuel was perfect on the dyno and the car had a perfect idle and seemed to have awesome throttle reponse. When we put it on the dyno we were expecting to see 450 at the wheels.Everyone in the shop was shocked by the low numbers
