A dyno result wouldn't be too useful at all unless the computer was given time to "learn" the new maf readings and adjust the cells propertly (someone correct me if im wrong!) not saying he didn't, just bringing it up. The difference seems to be so small that it could have just been two different runs with slightly different readings (MAF might have had nothing to do with it!

Car Craft Mag. states by removing the screen you usually gain 5-6 hp on their results, I removed mine and never had a problem just be carefull not to ruin the screen just in case you wanted to put it back in.

The screen is held in by a ring in a grove just take a small tipped flat screwdriver and pry it at a angle and it just pops out, least thats what mine did.

Just a friendly warning... IF YOU REMOVE YOUR MAF SCREEN, SPEED INC WILL NOT TUNE YOUR CAR.

For some people this is a simple "oh, I'll just call so-and-so and borrow his..." but at least for me that was a huge hassle since most of my f-body friends are down at Purdue, and during the summer I'm 300 miles away from somebody I know. Food for thought if you're considering it but don't have nearby friends to lend you theirs

The ZO6 doesn't have a screen because it's a short straight in shot to the TB. The F-body air intake is long and has twists and turns.
